The renovated building is technologically at the cutting edge in terms of progress towards renewable energy sources.

In addition to reinforced insulation throughout the building, a photovoltaic generator consisting of around 500m² of solar panels integrated into the roof has been installed on the building’s south side.

Geothermal energy provides domestic hot water and low-temperature, under-floor heating throughout the building, and air-conditioning in the cellar. Heat pumps and energy storage systems installed in the existing underground vats assure optimum energy regulation between the cellar and the hotel.
